The Department of Commerce, Computer Science and HATIM Student’s Council (HSC) of Higher and Technical institute, Mizoram (HATIM) had organized and took up the ‘Cleanliness drive’ on 21st September 2024 for the purpose of keeping the environment clean, hygienic and tidy which has to be sanctioned by every department.

Forthwith, On 21st September 2024 the kick-off of the cleanliness drive was held at a morning devotion and was done by one of the esteemed faculties from the department of commerce, Miss C. Lalrinsangi.

From that day onwards till 20th October 2024, surprise checking of all department’s belongings and surroundings was conducted every twice a week including each faculty rooms, classrooms and most importantly washrooms and lavatories. In the process, majority of each and everyone did a great job on fulfilling one’s duty regarding the cleanliness policy and were managed to keep our environment clean and tidy throughout.

Also, with reference of cleanliness, appointed students from the department of commerce and computer science gave such sort of indispensable presentation every once in a while, during morning devotions as well till the closing of the drive itself which was again done at the morning devotion by Lallawmkimi Chawngthu from HATIM Students’ Council (Dept. of Psychology.)

On 25th October 2024, Announcement and Rewarding Programme of the cleanest faculty rooms / Offices and the cleanest classrooms was held. The results are as follows:

1st Position: Computer Science and Philosophy.

2nd Position: Psychology, History & Education

3rd Position: Commerce and English

CLEANEST CLASSROOMS:

1st Position: V-Sem Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)

2nd Position: III-Semester BA (Education)

3rd Position: III-Semester BA (Psychology)
